Where to Stay in Alfonso, Cavite: Abagatan ti Manila
Abagatan ti Manila is a known hotel and events place in Alfonso, Cavite. I wanna share our recent experience because we were able to stay here for two days and one night. It was a much-needed staycation.
📍 Abagatan ti Manila
Brgy. Kaytitinga, Alfonso, Cavite
Abagatan ti Manila is an Ilocano phrase that means “South of Manila”. It is not just a hotel but also an events place like weddings. Of course, I can only focus on the hotel and their Garden Restaurant since that's what we've tried. But let me tour you around so you can consider this if you are looking for a place to stay in Alfonso, Cavite.
This might be a long post! I have a lot of good photos and I want to share them with you. Haha!
HOTEL LOBBY
Upon entering the guard house, you will first see Kap'ean, the Garden Cafe/Restaurant, and the parking area. For their hotels, you will still need to go inside to find their lobby which is this area.
This is their receiving area and what the keycard looks like. As for our booking, we were asked for one valid ID and our vaccine cards. Kids and senior citizens are allowed. Pets are allowed but they have a Hotel Pet Policy which indicates that only small to medium pets are allowed and there are cleaning fees.
This is what the lobby and receiving area look like. You will easily get their aesthetic actually. I also like that the glass walls can give us natural lighting.
SWIMMING POOL
Since we got the Executive Suite, it is very near the pool area. The Premier and Junior Suite are also around this area too. The swimming pool is actually pretty big. They have a pool for adults and a separate one for kids.
This is one side of the pool. You can see our cars there. Yep, that is the parking area and it's very near when you book the Executive Suite, Premier Suite, and Junior Suite. Very convenient! Their parking area is huge and can accommodate a lot of cars, especially for events.
Just gonna flex my pool photos here! Haha. Thanks to my co-bloggers for being supportive as always.
This is what the rooms look like outside. It's actually like a villa. This is very different from the rooms with lower prices. It is on the other side which I will also be touring you later on.
EXECUTIVE SUITE
Their Executive Suite has a 35sqm area. It is not the biggest room but they were able to maximize the area yet it was still spacious.

The interior is very modern but has a hint of traditional or wood accents. Just like the usual lighting in hotels, the lights are dim and warm. Maybe to give a relaxing vibe.
The door on the right is the main door. While the one on the left is a connecting door to the room adjacent which in our case is the Premier Suite. We were able to try it because it was the room where Raine of Lowkey Lakwatsera.
The room has a cold and hot shower, toiletries, and a bathtub. The toiletries are complete. There's also a blower, an iron, and a mini iron board.
This area is surprisingly huge! For weddings, this is also the best room for the bride as it is spacious.
It also has another Flat TV inside where you can watch while taking a bath or dipping in the bathtub.
This is what it looks like during the day. We rolled up the blinds. It feels like Bali! Though I'd appreciate it if there are more plants here. Hehe! The tub is actually pretty big too.
I'm not sure but I think this is my first time in a king-size bed. Haha! I look smol here! Haha.
More photos of me! Woke up like this! Haha.
We had our dinner at the Garden Restaurant but I will be posting a separate entry for that so this one won't be super long. This is what you will see from the Garden Restaurant.
This is what the Garden Restaurant looks like at night. It was actually a rainy night when we had our dinner. Cozy vibe!

A complimentary breakfast was included in the hotel booking. They serve Pinoy and All American Breakfast. We had Beef Tapa and All American Breakfast Sausages.
OTHER ROOMS

DELUXE ROOM
HERITAGE SUITE
According to their staff, Heritage Suite is the room they recommend for groups. For weddings, this is also their recommended room for the groom as it is a few meters away from the Junior Suite which is the room recommended for brides.
This is also perfect for groups like family or barkada. It has a lounge area. Even after putting extra beds, I thnk it will still be spacious enough to move around. The toilet and wash area is like a dorm type.
JUNIOR SUITE
This is the Junior Suite. This is the room recommended for brides because it is spacious enough for them to get ready. Though I think I could also recommend the Executive Suite because it has a more spacious toilet area.
PREMIER SUITE

This is what the Premier Suite looks like. Thanks to Lowkey Lakwatsera for the photo! This looks more modern to me. The area might be smaller compared to the previous rooms but it also maximized the area with the lounge.
BALAI NGA BASIT
Balai nga Basit means "a small house" in Ilocano. We were not able to take photos inside because there are other guests who occupies it. It was along the way so we just took a photo of the outside. It doesn't look small to me though! Haha. It's big enough for groups.
OTHER AMENITIES
They have other amenities like this conference room and gym. The conference room gives me a light vibe which is a plus for me. It is probably because of the glass wall.
This is their gym area. It also has billards.

REVIEW
It was a much needed staycation and we had a great experience during our stay. My roomie was SincerelyEricka at the Executive Suite. While Raine of Lowkey Lakwatsera stayed at the Premier Suite. We had a great time especially our dinner at the Garden Restaurant and the pool! When we arrived there, the weather was actually gloomy. It even rained that night. But the next day, it was a sunny day so we were able to swim at the pool. The room was pretty expensive. But to be honest, it feels premium. I slept well and woke up the next day excited and happy.
The hotel is just a few minutes away from Twin Lakes and Tagaytay. You can stroll around Alfonso, Cavite too because there are new establishments and tourists spots there too.
I love how the hotel is modern and it is very close to nature. Just a reminder that since there is a body of water and there are a lot of plants, make sure to bring your mosquito repellant.
Overall, we had a great experience and it is something I can recommend especially if you have the budget. You can also check out them as an events place if you're looking for a wedding or events venue. Even if you're not hotel guests, you can dine at Kap'ean and Garden Restaurant.
