Tagaytay City has become a well-known holiday town in South Luzon with the mild climate and the picturesque view of Taal Volcano. It is also considered the second summer capital of the Philippines. As proof of the city's popularity with tourists, it's always jam-packed on weekends and holidays.

Crosswinds is a 100-hectare luxury development in Tagaytay City with a combination of both residential properties and commercial establishments. It is a renowned place here in Tagaytay because of its pine trees and their commercial establishments namely Coffee Project, Cafe Voila, and Ruined Project. A lot of people visit here especially during the Christmas season to see the extravagant Christmas displays. But do you know that they also offer condos for sale and ready-for-occupancy units in Crosswinds Tagaytay?
Well, I am here to convince you with some reasons why you should get your dream vacation home in Crosswinds Tagaytay:
Tagaytay is one of the leading cities in Cavite.
Tagaytay's growth over the past years is incredible. It grew from a discrete city to one of the leading and prominent cities in Cavite. It has a lot to offer from tourism, agriculture, religious churches, and many more!
I actually considered myself a probinsyana back in my college days because the nearby towns are more progressive. We didn't have malls, establishments, resorts, hotels, and that many restaurants before. Imagine going to town or to Manila just to buy something and shop. Haha! Tagaytay might have been a city for a long time now but it was just a few years ago when it got literally urbanized. This gives me more reasons to love this city!
Tagaytay is clean and green.
Despite being more urbanized now, the local government and the residents were able to keep Tagaytay clean and green, which is one of the city's main goals. Tagaytay might be a compact city but it's still not as crowded as Baguio. Nature is one of our priorities here so we really do our best to preserve Mother Nature and keep it clean.
You will love and enjoy the green Tagaytay ridges and the overlooking view of Taal Volcano.
Perfect weather and location.
Tagaytay is near Laguna and Batangas, which are also progressive provinces in the CALABARZON region. It is also just less than two hours away from the Metro. A perfect escape from stressful and bustling city life.
One thing to love about Tagaytay is the cold weather especially during November to December. |
The weather here is classified as tropical with significant rainfall in most months of the year. The temperature here averages 25.7 °C | 78.3 °F. Because Tagaytay is situated on top of mountain ridges, Tagaytay has cold weather, especially during -ber months.
Abundant agricultural aspect.
Tagaytay's main agricultural crops are pineapples, coffee, banana, and root crops like cassava and camote. Garden plant shops, fruit stalls, and flower stalls are likewise thriving. You can spot them along Tagaytay-Sta. Rosa Rd, Tagaytay City Market, and Tagaytay Rotunda.
We are also surrounded by rural municipalities and provinces that are abundant with other agricultural aspects.
Tagaytay is a top tourist destination.
The Department of Tourism considers Tagaytay City as one of the top destinations in the CALABARZON region. It is also considered to be one of the top destinations for weddings and special events.
We became recognized for our Bulalo and Buko Pie. As it became urbanized, a lot of restaurants and cafes arose notwithstanding the pandemic and Taal eruption in 2020.
The top tourist destinations and must-visit places here are Picnic Grove, People's Park in the Sky, Sky Ranch, Residence Inn Zoo, Tagaytay Highlands, and Crosswinds. I used to feel annoyed whenever my friends would ask me to hang out in Tagaytay, because the city is all too familiar for me already. But that was before! Now, I encourage them to visit me here instead. Haha!
Tagaytay is also a top venue for weddings and other occasions. There are quite a lot of churches, religious houses, and events places here. Crosswinds offers outdoor and indoor rental for weddings, prenup, and corporate events.
Tagaytay is a safe place against disasters.
The Taal Volcano eruption last year greatly affected Tagaytay's neighboring cities and provinces. Tagaytay City became a safe haven for the people of Batangas. We were able to help a lot of evacuees despite being also affected by the natural calamity.
And being in a high place with its impeccable drainage system, Tagaytay City never experiences or worries about floods and landslides during typhoons.
The residents here can sleep soundly during these disasters knowing that they are safe.
A good place for retirement.
Tagaytay is a friendly city for all ages, but it is the oldies who are really invested in moving here after their retirement. I know a lot of people that did. You'll also see quite a lot of foreigners who chose to move here. Tagaytay City was able to maintain the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that makes people fall in love with it and spend the rest of their retirement here.
Aside from nature and climate, Tagaytay is also a safe place for everyone. The people here are accommodating to new neighbors.
A property in Tagaytay is an investment.
Being one of the leading cities in the region, the property value in Tagaytay is higher than the nearby cities and municipalities. A property in a progressing city is an investment as the property value rises over the years.
