Etude Play Color Eyes Banana Milk Product Review
Etude House is one of my favorite kbeauty brands. I usually buy sheet masks and lip tints from them before. This is my first time to try their eye palette. For today, I am reviewing their Etude Play Color Eyes Banana Milk 🍌.
If you're not that familiar with the brand, Etude House is a famous kbeauty brand, not just in South Korea but also all over asia. They were endorsed by Jun Ji-hyun, Song Hye-kyo, Go Ara, Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye, Yoo Seung-ho, Sandara Park, Krystal Jung, Sulli and groups 2NE1, SHINEE, and Red Velvet from the past years.

PACKAGING
As expected, their packaging is very kbeauty. The product comes with a milk box inspired box. I love the silver details on the box and on the product itself. It really goes well with the aesthetic. I also appreciate that there's an English translation because not every kbeauty brand does this.
You can easily see the shades of this palette because the top part of the packaging is semi-transparent.
The palette is compact and travel friendly. It doesn't require too much space on your bag or makeup kit.
THE PALETTE

Glitter - Golden Banana, Banana ChaChaCha, I love Banana, 50 Days Old Banana
SWATCHES
This is what the swatches look like. This photo us taken with direct sunlight. Took this photo for us to appreciate the glitter shades.
Here's also photos of the palette taken under direct sunlight.
While here's a photo of the palette and swatches under the normal light. As you can see, the glitter shades are not seen as glittery as the photo above. They have chunks of glitters but are little fine in texture.
You can already make a good make up look by using this palette. The shades compliment each other which is good for beginners and if you're on the go.
VERDICT
I'll be straight to the point. The mattes are not that pigmented as what I expected it to be even the dark shade. You have to apply a few times before the color pop up. However, the glitter shades are good. All shades are blendable. I also like the texture because it's not powdery and messy when you use it. The texture is creamy (milky).
Since the shades are not that pigmented, I think it will be best for beginners because you can control how you want the look and you won't be that overwhelmed. Nude shades are the best shade if you're starting with makeup. It is also best for on-the-go and natural makeup look. I think that's really the purpose of this palette anyway (milky). If you want it to be that pigmented, you can use a concealer before you put it on your lids.
