Queens Strawberry Farm in Alfonso, Cavite
Do you know that there's a Strawberry Farm in Alfonso, Cavite? Yes, in South Luzon! Queens Strawberry Farm 🍓 just opened last December and it's just 20-30 minutes away from Tagaytay.
📍 Queens Strawberry Farm, Hawilian 2 Barangay Upli, Alfonso, Cavite (Before Splendido)
Opening Hours 🕗
Monday - Sunday
8AM to 7PM
I went here a week after they opened but I just got to post it now. Haha. It's already mid January. Sorry! Took a break in blogging during the holiday season.
I was so excited to try their restaurant because I love strawberries! We went there on a weekday so we won't experience the traffic and less crowd. It was just two days before Christmas when we went there and the traffic in Tagaytay can really be a hassle.
RESTAURANT
We went there via public transportation but it's just a few minutes away from Tagaytay. We easily found the place because we took a tricycle and drive knows already. Commuting back to Tagaytay was a different story though! It took us a while to ride a bus/jeep going back because it's holiday, I think.
This is what the restaurant looks like inside.
⚠️ Since we are still on a pandemic, safety protocols are followed. Contact tracing forms are filled out and they took our temperature before we went inside. It's spacious so no worries for social distancing. And I was right, it was the perfect time when we went there because only few customers are there when we arrived. Hehe.
⚠️ Only 15 to 65 years are allowed for dine in. Face masks and face shield are still required.
STRAWBERRY FARM
The management toured us around the place. Of course, we have to check the farm. Hihi. Their plantation is different from Baguio. As you can see on the photos, they are planted hanging and not on the ground because they use Aerophonics. Hindi ka na mahihirapan yumuko bes. Haha!
They will soon open other amenities like bed and breakfast (or it's probably open by now). They also have an outdoor venue for events like weddings, birthdays, etc.
There are no strawberries yet because the plants are just newly planted. Maybe before summer, it will bear fruits na. I luckily found this one though. Hehe! Will go back here for sure to try strawberry picking.
FISHING
This is their Tilapia pond and other vegetables plantation. Yep, you can also go fishing here! 🎣
MENU
FOOD
🥞🍳🥓 AMERICAN BREAKFAST SET (360 pesos)
It consists of 3 regular sized pancakes, 2 sunny side up, and bacon. This is already for two persons already. It's a big breakfast meal. Nothing special here though.
🍝 CARBONARA (360 pesos)
Most on their menu are for sharing. What we ordered can be for 2-3 pax already. Their carbonara is different from the usual though. Maybe because of the basil. It's not that creamy but it tastes kinda herb-y? Haha! But it's still good.
🍓 STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE (150 pesos)
One thing I loved! Their strawberry milkshake. Yuuum! It doesn't taste artificially flavored and sweetened. We slurped it on an instant. Haha! Perfectly paired with the strawberry desserts especially the cheesecake.
🍰 STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE (200 pesos)
I love cheesecakes and strawberries, so when they are combined.. 😍 Their cheesecake itself is nothing special to me. It tastes the usual. What made is yummy is the strawberry jam and the fruits.
As a strawberry lover, I'm really happy to have this restaurant and strawberry farm in south! Especially that it is just half an hour away from our home. I hope the farm will bear many fruits in the future and be successful. 😊 I'd definitely go back here to try more of their strawberry dishes.
Price range is 3.8/5. Good for 2-3 pax is 1,000-1,500 pesos. Depende kung gutom, chour! 🤣
