Zushi Me Lake View, Tagaytay
📍 Zushi Me Lake View, Grand View Complex, Brgy. San Jose, Tagaytay City
We decided to try this Japanese restaurant yesterday which is just across the rotonda. I really haven't noticed this until LifewithZG told me. I think it's pretty new too.
LOCATION
You can barely notice this if you will pass by the rotunda. If only the signage are more colorful, maybe it'll help a bit. But it is easy to get here since it is just along the highway. Parking is not a problem here.

AMBIANCE & INTERIORS
I was surprised to see the restaurant itself. It looks so good! You can never really judge a book by its cover. Haha! But to be honest, the outside doesn't really look that pleasing.
The view makes it more relaxing.
FOOD
We really wanted to try their ramen that's why we went here but the weather was unexpectedly warm. It was windy and sunny the other day but as warm as yesterday. Talk about climate change!
Tori Katsu (120 pesos) |
Gyudon (150 pesos) |
Signature Sushi Rolls - Yellow Zigzag (295 pesos) |
We also tried their Signature Sushi Rolls. It has 8 pcs and are pretty huge which is not that bad for 295 pesos. But the thing is, only half of it has the stuffings. It's like 80% rice, 10% toppings, 10% stuffings. Haha! I can barely taste the mango.

We also ordered a pitcher of iced tea which costs 120 pesos. The server recommended it because a glass of iced tea costs 60 pesos which is pretty expensive for an iced tea? Haha!
VERDICT
The whole experience and restaurant is not that bad. We only have a few comments on the food but it still be improved. There's nothing extraordinary about the food though or maybe I was just expecting too much? Haha. The food here is pretty pricey considering the quality of food. I might go back here to try their ramen and omurice though. Hehe!
