JOSE Restaurant, Skyranch Tagaytay (Unlimited Bulalo)

I found a restaurant that offers UNLIMITED BULALO here in Tagaytay and its affordable!

We were invited by United Bloggers Philippines to try and review Jose Restaurant which is located at Skyranch Tagaytay.

The restaurant itself has a pretty good ambiance. The interiors look classy with the black and white theme and the chandeliers.

Jose is known to be the only restaurant that offers unlimited Bulalo which costs 995 pesos for 4 persons. That's really affordable, right? They also offer unlimited Wagyu Steak for 1,145 pesos per head.

FOOD

I was excited to try their Bulalo because they are best known for the unlimited Bulalo after all. They use Wagyu Beef and that's an expensive meat, right? It is a high-grade beef from Japan but they produce it here in the Philippines. The meat is great, no doubt about that, but the Bulalo itself lacks flavor to me.

Their Crispy Pata was my favorite among the food we tried yesterday. The inside is tender and the skin is crispy.

This is their Gambas. I actually love seafood especially shrimps but I am not impressed by this one. I know I am sensitive to spicy food but I really cannot taste the other ingredients of it. I cannot even taste the garlic, tbh. There are mushrooms though.

This is the first time I tried Laing (left) so I cannot really compare if its okay. Haha! But according to the two foodies with me, they liked it. I also tried Poqui Poqui (right) which is their version of Bicol Express. I also haven't tried Bicol Express too. Haha. But there's talong (eggplant) and big bits of pepper.

This is my second fave. I love it! At first glance, you'll actually think it will very sweet because of the caramel on top but it is actually not. It has the right amount of sweetness, even older people can enjoy this :)

I was disappointed with their Buko Pandan because it really lacks sweetness at all. :(

They have a small function room. They can host baptismal or birthday parties or even just company meetings.

You can also dine outside facing the Skyranch, but it can really be warm there.

I may be a bit disappointed with the food, but I really do hope they would improve because they will be great if they did. The Unlimited Bulalo is already an advantage. You know me, guys. I won't sugar coat. I am always honest with my reviews.
