Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask Review

Milk is not just known for its moisturizing effect but also works well with sensitive skin. It widely used in most of the beauty products like soap, lotions, and creams.


Althea just launched the Petal Velvet Sunaway last October and they launched another Althea exclusive product last November which it is the Milk Peel Cream Mask. They are launching new products every month now? Haha! So hardworking! So be sure to follow them and me for updates! ;)

Product Claims
- An exfoliating mask that transforms from a clay texture to a whipped cream lather
- Contains milk protein extract to moisturize and revitalize
- Formulated with AHA & BHA to gently but effectively remove dead skin cells

Ingredients
Milk protein extract - Moisturizes and strengthens the skin
AHA & BHA - Gently exfoliates away dead skin cells for a smooth complexion
Kaolin - Detoxifies and pulls out impurities from the pores

How To Use
Dampen the skin and apply an even layer onto the skin, massaging till rich lather forms. Leave on for 30-60 seconds before rinsing away with warm water.

REVIEW

APPLICATION
It looks like a clay mask when first applied on the skin. It doesn't feel heavy on the face. As what I have said from my previous posts, I don't like skincare products with a strong scent and this one doesn't have any or maybe very minimal. So, I know it will work on my skin. Haha!

After a few seconds, it turns into a whipped cream lather and I was amazed by it! Haha! I didn't have any issues with the applicator. It has a pump (refer to the photo above) and with that, the application doesn't get messy at all.


VERDICT
This product works on my sensitive skin. I expect it that it will work because of the ingredients and it did not disappoint. I did not have any breakout nor reaction. It not just leaves my skin baby smooth after use but also instantly brightens up my face.
