Sushi Ninja: Best Sushi Place in South!
Japanese food is one of my favorite food and I'm so happy to find an excellent sushi place and a hidden gem here in the South — SUSHI NINJA, located at Westgate Center, Filinvest City, Muntinlupa.
They first served us the Spicy Tuna Salad. Well, it's not your usual 'salad' tho. It is made up of rice and tuna. Hehe! I have a low tolerance for spicy foods but I tried it. I can actually taste the spice but it was not extreme. And it was good! No regrets!
The second dish was their Mixed Poke. This is surprisingly good! To be honest, I am not a fan of raw fishes because there were times that for me it tastes different for some reasons. But with this one, you'll really know that it's fresh and the ingredients really go well with each other. I like it!
They also served Shinjuku Sushi which is made up of spicy tuna, unagi, tamago, deep fried and topped with kani, ebiko, Japanese mayo, special sauce and black sesame seeds.
Of course, we had to try the famous Okinawa-Toshi. It's fried sushi balls topped with torched salmon, cream cheese, truffle oil, special sauce, and ebiko. This is definitely a must try! I super love this because I am a sucker for anything with cream cheese. Haha!
This one is the Miso Poke. Still not sure with the name of this dish, but I'll edit this asap once I confirmed. Haha! Sorry. It is best to add a raw egg to it. You can taste a bit of sweetness on this and that is what I like about it.
We also got to try Leon's Sushi Burger. The sushi burger was named after the owner's son. I got excited when I heard that they'll serve this. This is the first time I ever heard of sushi burger. It was huge and flavorful!
New on Sushi Ninja's Menu:
CRISPY SALMON SKIN TACOS
They have 9 variants in total and we got to try 3. Every variant is delectable and offers their own uniqueness.
The place is small, clean, simple and straightforward. Their staffs are all accommodating and very friendly. What more could you ask for, right? Haha!
OVERALL: This place was a gem and a place I would go definitely back. It may sound pricey for people who haven't been here but it is worth it. The servings here are huge and all of the foods that we've tried are really good. Will definitely bring my family here! No wonder why their ratings are high. :) Thank you, Zomato PH and of course, Sushi Ninja for accommodating us.
