Althea x Get It Beauty: Real Fresh Skin Detoxer Review

New product alert! Althea, together with Get It Beauty, just released the Real Fresh Skin Detoxifier. It is a 10-second wash off mask. Sounds cool, right? So for today, I will be sharing my review of this product and if it works on my acne prone skin.

According to Althea's website, this is a 2-in-1 cleanser pack that showcases real, fresh ingredients and incorporates them into a system that allows a deep, clarifying cleanse while boosting the skin with nutrients and goodness.

The Real Fresh Skin Detoxer comes in two variants — ROSE and GREEN TEA. This is dermatologist tested and contains 150ml (5.07 fl oz) of product.

It comes on a box. The packing was simple and straightforward. The product is on a plastic transparent tube with a matte texture. It is made for us to clearly see the product since it has real green tea and rose on it.

ROSE — For refining

GREEN TEA — For purifying

• Young Green Tea Leaves From pristine Jeju island plantations it relieves the sensitive skin and purifies the skin to have a healthy boost in just 10 seconds.
• Detoxing recipe that calms down and purifies sensitive skin. 
• At 10pm, the time skin cell regeneration is most active, this product boosts the skin’s natural regeneration process by ensuring the skin is purified and ready to rest.
• Recommended for night time routine.

How to use this product?

Squeeze out a generous amount and apply a relatively thick layer onto the dry skin. Leave the product for 10 seconds, then add a little bit of water and massage in circular motions with leaves bubbles. Rinse it off after.

You may also put the opening date at the back of the tube. I find this part very helpful for the user. 

※ Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. This product contains real green tea leaves which may change color over time. The natural discoloration will not affect its product quality and function and remains safe to use.

Just like the other Althea products, the packaging is in Korean/Hangul. I am just hoping that Althea would also include the English version so it will be easier for us (users from other countries) to understand the product more. Just a suggestion! *wink!*

I've been using this product for almost two weeks now. On first use, I really like how my skin felt really smooth as I use both products. I used it without my cleanser first and it somehow worked well. However, when I tried to use my cleanser again together with these two, it just didn't work out. Few pimples started to show but it did not leave any scar which I am really thankful! Maybe because my skin can't take too many products so I stopped using my cleanser and use this one again. 

I definitely recommend these products especially the green tea variant. It works on my sensitive skin.  I think it is better to use this alone (not with a cleanser). I think that it also helps in calming my skin. The rose variant, on the other hand, makes my face brighter during the day. I also like that it has real ingredients, green tea and rose.
