Mozu at Ming's
It's been a while since I last posted about food and Tagaytay. Last Saturday, I was invited by Zomato PH for a food crawl here in Tagaytay. Well, it is my first food crawl! Yerr gurl was so happy and excited! Haha! Since I am from Tagaytay, I just met them at our first destination — MOZU AT MING'S.
I know Ming's Garden since I was in elementary. I used to be in a marching band and we performed there one time. They renovated it recently and they added the restaurant and events place. This place is so nice!! It is very relaxing.
Mozu at Ming's serves Filipino dishes with a modern twist. It is owned by Ming Ramos' grandson and is co-owned by Chef Enzo. They also have a branch in BGC.
FOOD
Our appetizer (Pampagana) was the mouthwatering Gambas Al Ajillo. I love shrimps and this dish is perfect as an appetizer.
The next dish we had was the Ox-tail Kare-Kare.
Bangus Ala Pobre.
Bagnet Salad. Yummy!!
Gising-gising has Labuyo which makes it spicy and I managed to taste it somehow. Good thing I had mango smoothie. I think it is not that spicy, it just so happened that I have a low tolerance for spicy foods. Sayang masarap pa naman!
We had Frozen Brasso de Mercedes and Turon Ala Mode for dessert. I was not able to take a photo of the Frozen Brasso de Mercedes. I am so sorry! But it was really good! It is actually now my new favorite and I will definitely go back here for that. It is made up of meringue, yema and ice cream. Ahh! I should go back as soon as possible. Haha! I really love that one! The Turon Ala Mode was good too!
I thought this restaurant would be expensive but it is not (compared to other restaurants here in Tagaytay). You may check out their menu and other info on https://www.zomato.com/manila/mozu-at-mings-tagaytay-city-tagaytay-city.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you happen to pass by or explore Tagaytay. Out of all the three restaurants, this is actually my top restaurant. I even found a new favorite dessert! Even though this place is a few kilometers away from the center of Tagaytay, this is so worth it!
Thank you so much, Zomato PH and Mozu at Ming's. Follow my food journey on Zomato - Elaine Dogelio! :)

How to get there?
It is along Tagaytay-Sta. Rosa Rd. You can just waze it if you have a private car. If you are going to commute from Manila, you can take the bus going to Nasugbu/Mendez/Tagaytay. Tell the driver/conductor to drop you off at Olivarez Terminal. From there, you can ride a tricycle going to Ming's. From Manila, you can also take a bus going to Balibago (Sta. Rosa) and then ride the jeep going to Tagaytay. The jeep will already pass by Ming's, just tell the driver to drop you off.
