Life Lately Vol. 4: Birth Month

Hello! I haven't updated my Life Lately for almost a year now and I am feeling a bit guilty. I feel uninspired these days but I hope I can make it up to you soon. I've got so many ideas for this blog. I just need to get inspired and motivated again to be back on track. A lot of things happened since 2018 started and I somehow regret that I didn't get to update this series. But no worries! I'll tell you what I've been up to for the last six months.

I've been working as a freelancer for almost a year now. I started as an article writer for different blog sites but I am now working as a part-time virtual assistant for a US based client. I also get few other jobs sometimes. As of the moment, I am happy with my job and I have no regrets in quitting the corporate world and choosing this work at home job. I have time for friends, family, blogging and also for myself. I also opened a small business recently. It is doing just fine just like my first business. Your girl gotta pay her bills! Haha. Kailangan rumaket.

Joseph and I are currently in a long distance relationship for more than six months now. He and his family moved to LA last December. It is really hard for us at first because we were always together for more than six years and now we are miles away from each other. But thanks to the technology we have today, we still talk and see each other every day despite the time difference via video call. I miss him so much!

Since Joseph is away, I got more time for myself and I realized so many things. I get to know myself more and I learned to love myself even more. I enrolled myself at Anytime Fitness. My cardio finally improved. Ever since I started working at home, I didn't do much cardio and it affected my health. It is also for my PCOS. My reflux and IBS keeps coming back even though I already got myself checked and I am recently experiencing allergic reactions. I should get well soon!

If you've been reading my blog, you probably saw in my recent blog post that I had my first flight and I went on vacation last May. It was really fun! I've been craving for more travel and adventures ever since that trip but I need to save up for something so I don't know yet if I'd travel again before the year ends.

It was my birthday last June 25. I really can't believe I am already 24. Haha! My family and I went to Bulalo Point for a simple celebration. I love the food there and it is affordable! Celebrating birthdays is not a big deal to me anymore. I guess that's what you realize as you grow older. Haha!

My girlfriends and I also met today for a post-birthday celebration. We dined at Ciyoo Korean Restaurant here in Tagaytay. It is my first time to dine in a Korean restaurant. It's always a good time with these two! So happy to see them again. :)

It's just two days before June ends. Time flies really fast, isn't it? So before I end this post and since this has been a tradition in this series, I'll share with you not just kdramas but also movies and series that I've watched these past few months. I watched light kdramas because PLL is so intense!! :p

Pretty Little Liars – I got so hooked on this one! This is the first American series that I finished and it is so worth! The ending was so intense and twisted though. Haha!

Avengers Infinity War – I also watched the other Marvel movies just to catch up before watching this movie. Haha!
